SLYTHERIN head of house
Amidst the panic that ensued from this term’s events, Professor Pierson Fuller-Thompson was one who appeared calm and nonchalant throughout. Did his vast experience as Hogwarts staff instill in him strength in the face of adversity? Or was he putting on a façade to dispel the students’ fear? Furthermore, the Slytherin Head of House could be seen looking out for students in his own way - by teaching fun lessons, giving career advice, and even organising a friendly competition against Gryffindor House. I had the chance to ask the busy wizard a few questions about various topics.
Hello, Professor Fuller-Thompson! How did this term go for you? Oh, you know. Just another day in paradise. What did you enjoy most about being Head of Slytherin? What did you dislike about the role? Well, I really did love being able to be a part of my own house again. That's really fun. But at the same time, Slytherins are really quite the troublemakers. I should have known what I was getting myself into, but Merlin... those Snakes really gave me a run for my money. Especially my own kid. How do you find the balance between being strict and being friendly with your students? It's, uh... hard. I don't like being strict. But sometimes you students can really test my patience. Anyway... I usually am pretty good about being more relaxed. Teens gotta be teens. I was a teen once. If you could change the seating arrangement at the staff table, where would you place yourself and why? Ha, yeah, I'd sit by myself at the end. That staff table small talk makes me cringe. Do you have any advice for people who are interested in opening their own doggy daycare? Go for it! It brings me a lot of joy to have pups running around the yard. Start small, but keep at it and you'll succeed. That's advice for anyone who wants to start their own shin-dig. But also, learn the spell for poo-scooping. It's a lifesaver. |
